Congratulations to our young scientists.
Our Sharks celebrated the incredible creativity and hard work of 50 third, fourth, and fifth graders at the Science Fair Awards Ceremony. Several fourth and fifth-grade students were selected to advance to the Chester County Science Research Competition in March.
3rd Grade:
- Honorable mention with a title of “Lemon Energy,” goes to Brandon Marshaleck
- 3rd place with a title of “Sugar Rush,” goes to Rory DeMaio and Liam Carr
- 2nd place with a title of “Everyday Radiation,” goes to Dan Sheldon-Paris
- 1st place with a title of “Surfs Up, Slopes Down,” goes to Henry Singles
4th Grade:
- Honorable mention with a title of “Fun with Density," goes to Ariya Atluri & Krishna Dintakurty
- Honorable mention with a title of “Bouncing Soccer Balls,” goes to Lyla Marsico
- 3rd Place with a title of “What Type of Drink will Impact our teeth the Most,” goes to Charlotte Mariani
- 2nd Place with “The Dynamics of a Bouncing Ball,” goes to Grace Czubaroff
- 1st Place with a title of “Investigating Doppler Effect using sound waves,” goes to Vihaan Kumar
5th Grade
- Honorable mention, with a title of “What launch angle makes a football go the farthest?” goes to Michael Andress
- Honorable mention, with a title of “Classical vs. Rock: Does music affect (sic) the growth of a plant?” goes to Parker D'Alessandro
- 3rd place with a title of “Water Filters of Nature” goes to Aarav Arora and Sreenevasan Sudeep
- 2nd place with the title of “Effect of natural and artificial light on microgreens cultivation,” goes to Hanil Kataru
- 1st Place with a title of “What are the ideal conditions for sprout growth?” goes to Swetha Desikan
