Congratulations to our young scientists.

Our Sharks ​​​​​​celebrated the incredible creativity and hard work of 51 third, fourth, and fifth graders at the Science Fair Awards Ceremony. Several fourth and fifth-grade students were selected to advance to the Chester County Science Research Competition in March. 

3rd Grade: 

  • Our second runner up with the project, “Homopolar Motor” goes to Vanshika Kolla!
  • Our first runner up goes to Bridget Ashe and Gracie Tullio for their project, “How Orbeez behave in different environments.” 
  • In third place, Brooks Dagnew and Ethan Dharmaraj for “Which Robotic Arm lifts the most objects.”
  • Second place goes Arav Jinuman with "Pollution Purification: My Water Cleaning System."
  • Our first place winners for third grade are Aarya Doke and Aditya Chitambre for their project, “Making Sound visible with a tonoscope.” 

4th Grade: 

  • Our second runner up with the project “What musical instrument is the loudest?” is Mark Sery!
  • Our first runner up with the project “Getting to the bottom of it: The Seabed's influence on waves” is Henry Singles!
  • In third place, we have Avery Andress with the project “Baking Soda and Vinegar Rocket.”
  • Our second place winner, with the project “Sugar Science: The Effect of Ripening on Banana Sweetness” is Caroline Conner.
  • Our first place winner is Dan Sheldon-Paris with his project “Cosmic Rays.”

5th Grade

  • Our second runner up with the project “Using paper chromatography for separation” is Derek Deng! 
  • Our first runner up for “Investigating vehicle shape on drag force and speed” is Vihaan Kumar!
  • In third place, we have Krishna Dintakurty for her project, “Light, Plants! Action.”
  • Our second place winner with the project “Achoo! What really stops the spray” is Lyla Marsico.
  • Luv Kapadia with his project “Photovoltaic Effect” is our first place winner.
